Over the years Shellcamp Lake has been over taken by weeds, lily pads and other vegetation. To preserve our lake before it is completely taken over by the vegetation we have created an association to spearhead the lake clean up. They will be working on creating a non-profit organization to aid in the lake clean up which will be an effort for many year to come.
SOLitude Lake Management is the company who the association is working with for the lake clean-up.

Lake Clean Up!
Phase ONE
May 2023 Shellcamp Lake was treated for Milfoil by SOLitude Lake Management. August of 2023 the treatment was proven to be successful with a significant reduction of the milfoil.
Phase TWO
September 2024, the plan is to treat the nuisance plants with SOLitude Lake Management. The notices have gone out to the Lake front abutters.

As the milfoils is rising to the top it is an indication that the treatment is working. It will take time sue to the intensity of the vegetation of the lake for a full clean up. It is working!
